Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Mayo (ranked 7162 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Vladivostok (ranked 5911 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bill Mayo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kevin Vladivostok! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vladivostok moves into the clinch successfully.
Vladivostok gets control of Mayo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Vladivostok will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Mayo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Vladivostok trying to strike off his back.
Mayo throwing strikes but missing. Vladivostok is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Vladivostok wants to control the position but Mayo says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Mayo is looking for a kimura but Vladivostok is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mayo to get the leverage. Mayo working the head and body with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vladivostok wants to control but Mayo is keeping busy.
Vladivostok is trying to stand up here but Mayo is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mayo is working for a kimura but Vladivostok is defending it quite comfortably.
Mayo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vladivostok defends it well. Vladivostok trying to hold on to Mayo's head to control him but Mayo postures up.
Vladivostok is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Vladivostok is trying to escape back to his feet but Mayo uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Mayo has hold of Vladivostok's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vladivostok seems comfortable defending it but Mayo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vladivostok is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vladivostok is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mayo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bill Mayo!
