Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erin Riley (ranked 8342 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob DeBlaey (ranked 5920 p4p, 0 weight class). DeBlaey has chosen Battle Cry as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jacob DeBlaey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erin Riley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacob DeBlaey! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley connects with a body shot. DeBlaey misses with a low kick.
Riley drops down looking for a counter takedown but DeBlaey sprawls and moves away. Riley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. DeBlaey connects with a leg kick. Riley looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. DeBlaey feints and then cracks Riley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Riley down. DeBlaey throws a lazy right hand but Riley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. As DeBlaey tries to get set, Riley tries to push him back and clinch up but DeBlaey manages to avoid the attempt. DeBlaey tries a head kick but it misses.
DeBlaey lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Good leg kick by Riley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Riley throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. DeBlaey misses with a leg kick. Riley quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. DeBlaey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Riley. That did some damage! Riley thows a body kick. DeBlaey tries to catch it but that hurt him. DeBlaey throws out a leg kick but Riley moves out of range and DeBlaey only half commits. DeBlaey thumps Riley with a low kick. DeBlaey looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. DeBlaey fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Riley has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Riley takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riley thuds a left hand into DeBlaey's body. Erin Riley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A bone on bone clash there as Riley blocks the leg kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Riley misses its target. DeBlaey moves in looking to clinch but Riley pushes him off. Riley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. DeBlaey lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Riley throws a body kick that misses. DeBlaey throws a right and a left that both miss. Riley appears to be looking for a big counter. Riley throws a big shot that misses. DeBlaey connects with an inside leg kick. DeBlaey feints and then cracks Riley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Riley down. Riley wants to land a leg kick but DeBlaey is out of range. DeBlaey unleashes a big counter combination but Riley bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. DeBlaey lands a nice looking kick to the body. Riley takes a step back to recover. Riley swinging wildly here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riley takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Erin Riley has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. DeBlaey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Riley has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from DeBlaey. Riley tries to land a front kick but DeBlaey steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. DeBlaey scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. DeBlaey drops Riley with a left and a right! Oh, Riley is hurt - DeBlaey dives into side control looking to finish!
Riley is rocked! DeBlaey staying calm. Oh Riley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! DeBlaey works to advance to full mount. Riley defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. DeBlaey controlling the position easily from mount. The referee warns Riley that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
DeBlaey lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Riley hang on? DeBlaey sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Let's hope that DeBlaey has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Oooooh, big shot lands for DeBlaey! Riley is hurt baaadly! DeBlaey is firing away with more strikes - Riley is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacob DeBlaey! Jacob DeBlaey was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
