Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Bo (ranked 4268 p4p, 460 weight class) and Dave Roberts (ranked 7315 p4p, 642 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Derek Bo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Roberts!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Roberts showed some decent athleticism there.
Roberts wants to work for an arm triangle but Bo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Roberts is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roberts.
Roberts is trying to work for a kimura but Bo is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roberts defends it easily.

Roberts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oh but Bo is tightening it up a little... Roberts has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Roberts reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Roberts taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bo!
