Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Stout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rudy Gobert! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stout tries to clinch up. Gobert gets a clinch. Gobert manages to break the clinch.
Gobert tries to bum rush Stout with a series of wild strikes but Stout uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Gobert lands with a shot to the body. Stout is looking to clinch but Gobert is avoiding it.
Leo Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gobert scores with a head kick. Stout tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Leo Stout has been cut. Gobert connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stout closes the distance but Gobert moves to the side and Gobert counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stout's knee momentarily. Gobert misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout is looking to clinch but Gobert is avoiding it.
Stout gets a clinch. Gobert manages to break the clinch.
Gobert has his takedown stuffed and Stout counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Stout moves into the clinch successfully.
Stout fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Stout tries to clinch up and Gobert counters with a left and a right that stings Stout. Stout tries to close the distance and clinch but Gobert swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gobert misses with a takedown attempt - Stout sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Gobert pushes Stout up against the cage in a clinch. Gobert jumps guard and drags Stout to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Gobert looking for a sweep. Not yet Gobert, not yet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gobert looking to control.
Gobert is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stout missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout trying to control but Gobert is working from the bottom. Gobert pulls Stout in close to prevent any damage. Stout throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gobert works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gobert doesn't manage to clinch there - Stout circles away.

Good exchange - Gobert coming out on top. Gobert closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stout circles away. It looked like Stout was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Leo Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rudy Gobert. Stout rushes Gobert and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stout tries to pull guard but Gobert won't allow it.

Stout's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gobert misses with the combination.
Stout clinches up with Gobert and pushes him back against the cage. Stout gets control of Gobert's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stout will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Stout wants to stand and escape but Gobert is having none of it. Gobert loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gobert throwing strikes from guard but Stout blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rudy Gobert dominated that round. The cut man is working on Leo Stout's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

As Stout backs off Gobert throws a huge counter combo but Stout manages to avoid it all. Stout is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stout gets in close and instigates a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Gobert's face as he tries to break the clinch. Stout tries to pull guard but Gobert holds him up against the cage and eventually Stout drops back down to his feet.
Gobert pulls guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stout throwing strikes but missing. Gobert isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Stout stacks Gobert on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Stout!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gobert tries to control but Stout manages to take his back. Stout is hanging on to Gobert's back as he tries to escape.
Gobert is taking damage to the body and head. I really don't envy Gobert right now.
Stout is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gobert defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gobert can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stout gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Stout is persistently looking for the submission but Gobert is defending it well.
Gobert is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gobert trying to get back to his feet but Stout is in full control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gobert defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Stout biding his time, looking for the opening.
I really don't envy Gobert right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee is taking a good look at Gobert as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Stout!
Gobert prevents Stout from getting a body triangle. Stout working for the choke. Gobert trying to control the hands but Stout breaks the grip. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gobert is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Stout is staying active. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gobert is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Stout tries to clinch but Gobert is having none of it. Gobert ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stout moves away. Leo Stout is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gobert throws a combination that misses and Stout counters with a series of strikes. Gobert will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stout is looking to clinch. Gobert scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Stout moves into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A nice glancing elbow lands by Gobert. Stout fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Gobert is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gobert keeps the fight on the outside. A nice side step and Gobert releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Gobert fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stout, pushing him back against the cage. Gobert changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stout fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gobert takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A decent looking body kick lands there for Gobert.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stout gets tackled into the cage by Gobert. Gobert maintains the clinch. Stout fails to pull guard.
Gobert stalling in the clinch but Stout improves position. Stout fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stout pulls guard successfully.
Stout looking for a guillotine here but Gobert defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gobert with a flurry of punches that miss. Gobert wants to control from the top but Stout keeps moving. Gobert trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Stout is looking to stand up but Gobert isn't so interested in that idea. Stout manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Stout pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gobert lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Gobert misses with the combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Rudy Gobert comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Gobert has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
