Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Cline (ranked 7901 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Gaskins (ranked 6006 p4p, 531 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alvin Cline! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Landon Gaskins ! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gaskins scores with a takedown into Cline's guard. Cline has his feet on Gaskins 's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Cline takes the fight into the clinch. Cline has Gaskins pressed against the cage.
Cline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gaskins tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cline avoids it. Cline lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Cline is trying to pull guard but Gaskins has him pressed against the cage. Gaskins has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cline uses from the top position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cline gets to his feet. Gaskins looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The fight moves into the clinch position.

Cline gets a trip takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cline decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Cline gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gaskins to score an easy takedown into full guard. Gaskins wants to control from the top but Cline keeps moving. Cline keeping full guard, as Gaskins tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cline has his hands on Gaskins 's head, controlling the position. Gaskins trying to control but Cline is working from the bottom. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cline has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Cline shoots in and drives through. Gaskins sprawls well. Cline shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alvin Cline. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gaskins looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cline! Gaskins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cline, who protects the arm well. Gaskins working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cline pushes Gaskins away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gaskins gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Cline can't do much from the bottom here. Cline is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gaskins sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cline is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cline gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cline keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alvin Cline will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cline clinches up with Gaskins and pushes him back against the cage. Gaskins wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cline has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gaskins uses from the top position. Gaskins cracks Cline with a solid left hand. Cline keeping moving, preventing Gaskins from controlling successfully. Gaskins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gaskins throwing strikes but missing. Gaskins throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cline looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cline throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Gaskins won't allow Cline to sweep him here. Cline throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Gaskins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Cline sneaks out the side door and pushes Gaskins away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Alvin Cline is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cline gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cline pushes Gaskins off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gaskins darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Cline has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Gaskins is on him like a limpet, forcing Cline back against the cage. Gaskins looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Gaskins drags the fight down to the ground.
Cline gets to his feet - Gaskins follows without any prompting. Gaskins sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Gaskins on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cline shoots for a takedown but Gaskins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Gaskins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cline is trying to defend but Gaskins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gaskins slips a nice elbow through Cline's hands, connecting with Cline's forehead. Cline trying to control from the bottom.
Gaskins stalling away here and it's allowed Cline to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Cline has control of Gaskins 's left arm, preventing Gaskins from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gaskins wants to get up but he can't break Cline's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Cline not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gaskins trying to control but Cline is working from the bottom. Gaskins postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cline is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gaskins , into his guard. Cline engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Cline drops back looking for a leg! Gaskins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gaskins manages to kick Cline off! Cline jumps back into Gaskins 's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alvin Cline dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Cline instigates a clinch. Cline tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gaskins tries to break free but Cline pushes him back against the cage. Cline is working for takedown but Gaskins is calmly controlling the position for now. Cline pulls guard successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gaskins is pushing down on Cline's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cline is fighting to maintain full guard but Gaskins has managed to sneak the leg through. Alvin Cline overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gaskins looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Cline trying to hold on to Gaskins 's head to control him but Gaskins postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cline is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gaskins pulls his head out easily. Gaskins is looking to take a break and control but Cline is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gaskins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gaskins tries to stand and escape but Cline is controlling the position. Cline is looking to control Gaskins 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cline avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gaskins is keen to just control but Cline is a slippery customer. Gaskins trying to control from Cline's half guard. Cline has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Gaskins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cline is keeping the position for now. Cline throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Gaskins closes the distance and clinches. Cline jumps guard.
Gaskins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cline. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gaskins wants to control from the top but Cline keeps moving. Cline has Gaskins pulled in close to control his posture. Cline is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gaskins can do to turn this around? Gaskins looking to sit in guard and control but Cline gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Cline stands up from Gaskins 's guard - Cline perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Cline changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gaskins fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alvin Cline. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gaskins pushes Cline up against the cage in a clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cline blocks the elbow strike.
Landon Gaskins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alvin Cline is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. This has been an exciting period of action! Gaskins missing with knees to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alvin Cline. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cline, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
