Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Gelfen (ranked 2166 p4p, 236 weight class) and Yoshi Takano (ranked 1635 p4p, 178 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gelfen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Takano feints and then cracks Gelfen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gelfen down.
Takano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gelfen. That did some damage!

Takano lands a big head kick that sends Gelfen tumbling to the mat! Takano takes a step backwards and waves Gelfen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Takano moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Takano lands a big right hand that sends Gelfen crashing to the mat! Takano stays standing though and waves Gelfen back to his feet!
