Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Wright (ranked 24126 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Tank (ranked 3724 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright comes to the cage accompanied by Warped Mind. The key to victory for Alex Wright has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Wright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Tank! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright is looking to clinch but Tank is avoiding it.
Wright keeps Tank at a distance using the push kick. Wright moves to clinch but Tank breaks away and Tank counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wright! Tank working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tank controlling from side mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tank in side control, throwing shots but Wright defends.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Tank looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Tank tries for a kimura but Wright is defending well. Wright is trying to get back to half guard. Tank tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tank has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tank controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tank tries to score with some ground and pound. Wright controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. A lull in the action here as Tank stalls from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tank works to advance to full mount. Wright defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Tank controlling from the full mount. Wright wants to control but Tank is having none of it. Tank controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Tank might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Tank is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Wright is in real trouble.
Wright is trying to break free.
Tank slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Tank is looking for the choke from the back position but Wright is controlling his hands well. Wright knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tank on the ground. Tank controlling well, preventing Wright from escaping the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tank controlling the position well here. Wright rolled but Tank kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Tank looking for the choke but no joy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tank is riding his opponent, not letting Wright buck him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Tank dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Wright avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wright drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tank sprawls and moves away. Tank scores with a takedown into Wright's guard. Thomas Tank has got the better of the ground game so far. Tank controlling from the top position. Tank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wright swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tank keeps trying to improve his position. Tank advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tank taking a breather here. Tank tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Tank throws an elbow but Wright slips to the side and avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Wright's face as Tank controls the position. Wright regains half guard, as Tank was trying to land strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tank passes to side control. Tank in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Wright trying to remain calm as Tank controls from the top position. You can see the frustration on Wright's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tank has hold of Wright's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Wright tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tank cranks the arm and Wright screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Wright, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Thomas Tank! In defeat, Alex Wright stepped up to the mic, saying 'When I sign a contract, I really want to give 180%. And if I can't give that, it's just not fair to the promotion and it's not fair to the fans and it's not fair to myself'.
