Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Berlioz (ranked 21801 p4p, 808 weight class) and Nigel Benn Jr (ranked 5525 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Hector Berlioz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hector Berlioz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn Jr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Berlioz on the side of the head.
Benn Jr lands with a cross.
Berlioz tries for a takedown but Benn Jr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Berlioz goes for a double leg but Benn Jr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Benn Jr continues to drive forward.
Berlioz darts in looking for a takedown but Benn Jr gets double underhooks and turns Berlioz into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Berlioz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berlioz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Berlioz prevents Benn Jr from standing back up.
Berlioz works his foot free and advances to mount.
Benn Jr is desperately trying to improve his position but Berlioz has a good base and remains in mount.
Benn Jr regains half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Benn Jr throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Berlioz is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Benn Jr has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Berlioz is in a lot of trouble! Benn Jr is straining to finish and he's done it! Berlioz taps out! Amazing!

A pretty intense looking Nigel Benn Jr took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
