Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caol Dos (ranked 2923 p4p, 259 weight class) and Mick Mulvaney (ranked 3371 p4p, 287 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mulvaney's choice of entrance music: The Rocky Road To Dublin. Mick Mulvaney will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caol Dos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mick Mulvaney!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dos throws a looping overhand right but Mulvaney ducks down to avoid it.
Mulvaney throws a left that rocks Dos and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Mulvaney dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Dos regain composure!
Dos is rocked!
It looks like Caol Dos has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mulvaney trying to control the position but Dos is working away.
Oh Dos is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mulvaney lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Dos tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mulvaney wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mulvaney cracks Dos with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Mulvaney immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Dos is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Mulvaney!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mick Mulvaney!
During a confident post fight interview, Mick Mulvaney thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
