Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rupert Blasts (ranked 327 p4p, 43 weight class) and Michael Cole (ranked 237 p4p, 29 weight class). Cole has chosen I Won't Back Down as his entrance music. Rupert Blasts could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael Cole's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rupert Blasts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Cole!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Cole as he checks the leg kick.
It seemed like Cole was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Blasts just misses with a punch to the body.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cole has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rupert Blasts will probably get the nod.

Cole connects with a couple of big shots that have Blasts covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Blasts! Cole fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
