Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miller Gozu (ranked 4590 p4p, 491 weight class) and Adrian Wolf (ranked 4673 p4p, 499 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miller Gozu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adrian Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gozu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wolf.
Wolf lands the left hand.
Wolf throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gozu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Crunch! Wolf slams his shin into Gozu's torso.
Gozu wants to clinch.
Gozu throws a lazy right hand but Wolf sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gozu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wolf can pounce on him.
Wolf lands with a good body shot.
Wolf keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gozu.
Wolf stuns Gozu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wolf closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Miller Gozu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gozu throws a leg kick but Wolf moved away.
Wolf smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wolf fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gozu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gozu shoots in but no luck this time.
Wolf lands a jab to Gozu's midsection.

Gozu moves into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wolf breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wolf lands a head shot.
Wolf turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wolf circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wolf is trying to counter with his kicks.
Gozu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wolf on the side of the head.
Wolf lands with an overhand left.
Gozu tries to clinch up but Wolf circles away and keeps his distance.
Gozu throws a jab but it's blocked by Wolf.
Gozu misses with a series of wild punches.
Wolf looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Adrian Wolf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wolf connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Wolf lands with a nice body punch.
Good leg kick by Wolf there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wolf throws a hook to the side of Gozu's head but Gozu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wolf throws a hook but Gozu blocks it.
Wolf throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gozu on the side of the head.
The crowd cheers as Wolf lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gozu doesn't seem phased though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gozu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gozu takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Gozu moves into the clinch.

Wolf pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A slow jab from Gozu misses its intended target.

Gozu forces Wolf back against the cage and clinches.
Wolf lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gozu backwards.
Wolf makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Gozu pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gozu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wolf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wolf slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Wolf's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Gozu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gozu looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've been hearing good reports from Gozu's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Wolf seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Gozu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wolf is trying to defend but Gozu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Gozu thows a huge punch but Wolf dodges it nicely.
Gozu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wolf keeps working.

Wolf trying to hold on to Gozu's head to control him but Gozu postures up.
Wolf is concentrating on defense, preventing Gozu from advancing position.
Gozu is trying to control the action in half guard but Wolf is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gozu with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Gozu stops Wolf from getting back to his feet.
Gozu trying to pass the guard but Wolf defending well.

Gozu is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gozu wants to control but Wolf is keeping him busy.
Wolf is looking to escape.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adrian Wolf dominated that round.
That's time! Gozu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Wolf scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gozu in his tracks.
Gozu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wolf lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wolf misses with a looping left.
Wolf cracks Gozu with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A left lands for Wolf.
Gozu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gozu closes the distance but Wolf moves to the side
and Wolf counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wolf ducks right into an uppercut from Gozu.
Wolf lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gozu throws a wild body kick that Wolf sees coming a mile off.
A little jabbing left from Wolf on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Gozu gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gozu tries to clinch there but Wolf circles away.

Gozu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Gozu tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Wolf connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wolf on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wolf throws a push kick but Gozu slaps the foot to one side.
Wolf scores with a hook to the body. Gozu takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Gozu pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gozu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wolf.
Gozu smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Wolf gets through Gozu's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Wolf lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gozu backwards.
Wolf lands with a short head shot on the inside.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gozu is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wolf pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Gozu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wolf avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Wolf lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wolf lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gozu backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Wolf.
A body shot lands from Wolf.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wolf escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gozu tries to clinch but Wolf is having none of it.
Gozu jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gozu misses with a two punch combination.
Gozu motions for Wolf to come forward. Gozu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A slapping body kick lands there for Wolf.
Gozu tries to move into range but Wolf moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gozu takes a jab right on the kisser.


Gozu is rocked!
Wolf sizes up Gozu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Gozu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wolf has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wolf lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Gozu up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Wolf from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Gozu's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adrian Wolf!
During a confident post fight interview, Adrian Wolf thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
The defeated Miller Gozu had this to say: 'Thank you! Its a great night of fights so stick around!'.
