Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kiba Inuzuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Olbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Olbo's choice of entrance music: Cant C Me. Drew Olbo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kiba Inuzuka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Drew Olbo! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inuzuka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Inuzuka throwing strikes but missing. Olbo is looking for a triangle here but Inuzuka uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Inuzuka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Olbo keeps working. An elbow from Inuzuka crashes against the mat.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Inuzuka closes the distance and pushes Olbo back into the cage. Olbo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Inuzuka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Inuzuka drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Olbo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Inuzuka pulls his leg out and moves away.
Inuzuka tries to clinch up but Olbo circles away and keeps his distance. Olbo scores with a takedown into Inuzuka's guard. Olbo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Olbo wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Inuzuka's closed guard. He's half up but Inuzuka has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Inuzuka pivots and extends the arm, Olbo falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Inuzuka! Well done that man!
