Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brain Buro (ranked 890 p4p, 88 weight class) and Minoru Nakano (ranked 1993 p4p, 198 weight class). Buro comes to the cage accompanied by Brian Boro`s March. Nakano has chosen Great Muta Concerto as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakano dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Buro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nakano digs a good hook to Buro's body.
Nakano moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Buro, as that shot connected.
Left hook, right uppercut from Buro.
Nakano avoids the body shot from Buro.
Buro lands a nice hook to Nakano's body. Nakano takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nakano misses with a shot to the body
letting Buro counter with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Buro stalks Nakano and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nakano's face. Nakano staggers backwards, shaken.
The fighters circling - Nakano throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Buro thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nakano avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nakano drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nakano slips under a jab from Buro.
Buro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nakano throws out a loose jab but Buro uses good head movement to avoid it.

Buro lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nakano backs up against the cage.

Nakano looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Buro manages to escape and get back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nakano loads up on a big right hand but Buro slips the punch.
Nakano scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brain Buro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Buro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nakano circles away quickly and effectively.
Nakano tries to clinch but Buro moves out of range.
Nakano shoots in looking for a takedown. Buro tries to sprawl out of it but Nakano keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A combination from Buro does no damage.

Nakano uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Buro.
As Buro backs off Nakano throws a huge counter combo but Buro manages to avoid it all.
Buro misses with a body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nakano! But no joy.
Nakano closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Buro steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nakano.
Nakano throws a jab when Buro was well out of range.
Buro scores with a punch to the head.
Buro misses with a jab, cross combination.
Buro throws the left hand but Nakano avoids the punch easily.
Nakano looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nakano scores with a nice head shot.
Nakano looks to throw the jab but Buro is out of range.
Buro lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nakano doesn't manage to clinch there - Buro circles away.
Nakano throws a hook to the side of Buro's head but Buro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Buro throws a series of punches but Nakano avoids them all with ease.

Nakano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Buro was well out of range. Poor timing from Nakano.
Brain Buro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nakano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Buro manages to avoid it.
Buro throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nakano misses with a left hand
and Buro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nakano looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Buro is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Buro gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nakano doesn't manage to clinch there - Buro circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Buro. That snapped Nakano's head back.

Buro throws a sloppy body shot
and Nakano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Buro is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Nakano looks to throw the jab but Buro is out of range.
It looked like Buro wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Buro throws a body shot but no joy.
Nakano takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Buro looks to land a combination. Nakano sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Nakano swings widly with a right hand
and Buro counters with a left to the body.
Nakano lands a two punch combo.
Nakano cracks Buro with a hook to the temple - Buro is on wobbly legs here! Nakano swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Buro falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Nakano wins by TKO!

During a confident post fight interview, Minoru Nakano thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
