Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Nathan (ranked 2795 p4p, 330 weight class) and Chew Kok (ranked 3156 p4p, 367 weight class). Kok has chosen Back from the grave-by GRAVE as his entrance music. Chew Kok will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ray Nathan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chew Kok! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Left hook, right uppercut from Kok.
It looks like Ray Nathan has been cut. Nathan misses the shot to the body. Kok raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Nathan walks into a straight right hand from Kok. A head kick by Kok misses and Nathan counters with a slapping leg kick. Nathan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kok. Kok obviously looking to wear him down.
Kok scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nathan on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kok lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kok lands a nice shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kok tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kok throws a body kick that misses and Nathan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Nathan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kok. A counter left hand to the body from Nathan misses its target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kok misses with a jab to the body
and Nathan counters with a good low kick that Kok was not able to check. Nathan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nathan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Kok misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kok rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nathan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nathan is looking to counter punch. Kok throws the kick towards the body but Nathan avoids it. Kok fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nathan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Nathan slips a jab and a cross from Kok.
Nathan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kok misses with a kick to the body and Nathan counters with a thumping low kick. Kok throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A counter left hand to the body from Nathan misses its target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kok throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kok swings for the body but Nathan moves out of range.
Nathan blocks a head kick by Kok.
A counter left hand to the body from Nathan misses its target. Kok stuns Nathan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nathan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nathan is looking to wear down Kok with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kok sizes up Nathan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kok misses with a hook. Nathan ducked under it nicely. Nathan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Kok as he connects with a hook. Kok cracks Nathan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Kok connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kok walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nathan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Nathan is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Nathan checks a leg kick nicely. Kok lands a jab to Nathan's midsection. Nathan moves away from the strike by Kok. Nathan looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Kok throws a good cross that connects.
Nathan swings for the body but Kok moves out of range.
Nathan misses with an uppercut
and Kok counters with a right hand to the body. Kok throws a head kick that misses. Nathan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kok tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kok throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nathan. Nathan is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Kok lands a right hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Kok looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Nice shot by Kok. Kok cracks Nathan with a right hand to the side of the head. Kok throws a sloppy head kick and Nathan moves out of range easily. Nathan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kok lands with an overhand left. Nathan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Chew Kok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nathan throws a jab but it's blocked by Kok. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chew Kok dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ray Nathan's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nathan throws a hook but Kok avoids it easily. Kok tests Nathan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nathan blocks a low kick nicely. Kok fakes the leg kick and cracks Nathan in the body. Kok dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kok misses with a combination
and Nathan counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kok lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Nathan goes down and covers up as Kok starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chew Kok! After the fight, Chew Kok was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
