Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Volt Krueger (ranked 2158 p4p, 233 weight class) and Bismack Kagonbo (ranked 3241 p4p, 331 weight class). Kagonbo has chosen Voodoo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bismack Kagonbo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Volt Krueger's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bismack Kagonbo!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krueger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kagonbo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Krueger.
Krueger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kagonbo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Krueger is controlling him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kagonbo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kagonbo is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Krueger slips nicely into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kagonbo is trying to stand back up but Krueger is controlling him
Kagonbo pushes Krueger off but Krueger dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Krueger has an Americana. Kagonbo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Krueger is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Krueger hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
