Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sun Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, BJ Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sun Moon! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Moon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Moon fails with the takedown. Moon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Penn. Penn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Moon looks for a takedown but Penn sprawls well. Penn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Penn lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Penn.
It looks like Sun Moon has been cut. Penn lands an overhand right. Penn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Penn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Penn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moon tries for a takedown but Penn circles away easily and Penn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. BJ Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sun Moon. Moon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Penn counters with a three punch combo that has Moon backing up. Moon nods at Penn to acknowledge the strikes. Moon looks gassed! Penn misses with the combination.
Moon on the wrong end of a nice jab. Moon scores with a takedown into Penn's guard. Penn wants to sweep here but Moon controlling him for the moment. Moon postures up in Penn's guard and throws a big left but Penn blocks it. Moon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Penn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Penn is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Penn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Penn keeping full guard, as Moon tries to pass. Penn manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Moon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Moon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Penn lands with an overhand left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Penn drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Penn slips nicely into half guard. Penn is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Moon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Penn. Moon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Penn is trying to work for a kimura but Moon is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Moon is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
