Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saron feints and as ortiz raises his hands in defense, Saron changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Saron tries to free his leg and advance position but ortiz is retaining full guard.

ortiz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Saron gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Saron slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Yogg Saron dominated that round.
That's time! Saron's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Saron is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so ortiz is just riding it out for now. Saron eventually gives up the hold.
Yogg Saron overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Saron prevents ortiz from standing back up.
Saron is taking a breather. ortiz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
ortiz is trying to stand.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Saron seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Saron uses his free foot to push down on ortiz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for ortiz.
ortiz tries to buck Saron off but Saron takes his back!
What can ortiz do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
ortiz is trying to get back to his feet but Saron has full control of the position and if anything, ortiz has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Saron.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Saron controlling the positon.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Yogg Saron just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Saron shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Saron was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee warns ortiz that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
ortiz tries to buck Saron off so he can stand up but Saron has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! ortiz falls backwards, slamming Saron to the mat but Saron holds on tight! ortiz is forced to tap and this one is all over!
