Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Flynn (ranked 25095 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Brevat (ranked 5870 p4p, 578 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Gabriel Brevat enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Douglas Flynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabriel Brevat! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flynn doesn't manage to clinch there - Brevat circles away.
Brevat throws a sloppy head kick and Flynn moves out of range easily. Brevat takes the fight into the clinch. Flynn looking to slow down the pace here. Brevat putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Flynn in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Flynn has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Flynn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Flynn wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brevat fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Flynn, pushing him back against the cage. Flynn is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Brevat is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brevat ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brevat no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Brevat wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flynn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brevat is pulling down on Flynn's head. It's preventing any offense from Flynn, at least for the moment. Flynn stopping the sweep attempt from Brevat. Flynn being controlled here momentarily. Brevat has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Flynn has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Flynn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brevat has him pressed against the cage. Brevat wants the takedown. Flynn is fighting it off but Brevat persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Flynn's guard against the cage. Flynn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brevat is one step ahead there. Brevat controlling from the top position. Brevat advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flynn is in trouble now - Brevat has advanced to mount! Brevat controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flynn tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brevat content just to control the position here. Brevat breaks from Flynn's wrist control and lands an elbow. Flynn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Brevat has Flynn pressed against the cage, preventing Flynn from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Flynn is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Brevat works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brevat trying to control the position from guard on top but Flynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brevat with a nice head shot there.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Flynn is defended easily by Brevat. Flynn tries to clinch up but Brevat circles away and keeps his distance. Brevat shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The ref makes him back up and allows Flynn to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brevat shoots in for a double leg but Flynn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Flynn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brevat swivels and escapes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brevat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Flynn but Flynn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Douglas Flynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Brevat. Brevat closes the distance and pushes Flynn back into the cage. Flynn looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Brevat tries to land knees in the clinch but Flynn avoids the damage to the body. Flynn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brevat is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Flynn working hard to break the clinch. Flynn tries to stall but Brevat uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Brevat has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Brevat is stalling in the full guard. Brevat pushes down on Flynn's leg and manages to get into half guard. Brevat is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Flynn still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Flynn has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Flynn working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabriel Brevat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Brevat loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brevat slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Flynn is looking to stand up but Brevat isn't so interested in that idea.

Flynn works his way to full guard. Good work. Brevat advances to half guard. Brevat is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Brevat in particular looking to stall. Flynn is looking to escape. Brevat lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Flynn is trying to get back to full guard. Still in half guard, Brevat seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brevat is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Flynn defends it well. Brevat takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Brevat's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Brevat working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Brevat is looking to advance position but Flynn won't allow it. Brevat takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Brevat decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Brevat shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Flynn as he jumps to the side. Flynn seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Flynn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brevat. Douglas Flynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Brevat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brevat shoots for a takedown but Flynn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Douglas Flynn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gabriel Brevat is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Brevat takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brevat feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
And that's the end of the fight! Gabriel Brevat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brevat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
