Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Brophy (ranked 478 p4p, 16 weight class) and Lucifer Satan (ranked 574 p4p, 19 weight class). Brophy comes to the cage accompanied by The Grumpy Song. Bob Brophy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lucifer Satan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Brophy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucifer Satan!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satan moves away from the strike by Brophy.
Satan looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Satan's coach down at The Takeover was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Satan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Satan misses with a straight left.
Brophy appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
A slow jab from Brophy misses its intended target.
A little jabbing left from Satan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Satan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brophy throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Brophy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Satan has time to react.
It looks like Lucifer Satan has been cut.
Brophy throws a nice outside leg kick.

Satan is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Brophy ducks under a wild hook from Satan.
Satan blocks the body kick.
Satan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brophy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Satan.
Brophy lands a head kick. Satan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That kick from Satan tenderised Brophy's leg. Brophy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Satan takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Satan just misses with a punch to the body.

Satan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brophy. That did some damage!
A looping hook to the body misses from Brophy. Satan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Satan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Brophy.

Satan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Brophy scores with a hook to the body. Satan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Brophy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Satan scores with a three punch combo!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Satan throws a hook to the side of Brophy's head but Brophy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brophy went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Brophy thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Satan if he has to take too many more of those.

Brophy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Satan looks winded!
Brophy lands with a shot to the body.
Brophy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Brophy rushes Satan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Brophy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Satan backwards.
Satan blocks an uppercut.

Brophy pushes Satan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Brophy pushes Satan back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Satan swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Satan takes a shot to the head.
Brophy throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Satan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brophy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A right hook to the body lands for Brophy.

Brophy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Brophy lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Satan.
Brophy lands a hook to the side of the head.
Brophy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brophy cracks Satan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Satan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Brophy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Satan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Brophy!
Our winner, Bob Brophy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
