Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Lee (ranked 5354 p4p, 511 weight class) and Raneiro Gaspare (ranked 24836 p4p, 702 weight class). Raneiro Gaspare will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Raneiro Gaspare! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee motions for Gaspare to come forward. Lee throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gaspare bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lee's head. Gaspare cracks Lee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Lee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gaspare. That's going to slow Lee down. Gaspare rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gaspare lands an elbow inside. A bit of stalling here from Gaspare.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gaspare effectively controlling the action here. Gaspare jumps guard.
Gaspare pulls Lee in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee throws a big elbow that misses. Gaspare looking for a sweep. Not yet Gaspare, not yet. Gaspare keeps trying to improve his position. Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gaspare avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lee throws a big elbow that misses. Gaspare pulls Lee in close to prevent any damage. Lee is looking to work some ground and pound but Gaspare has wrist control. Gaspare has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position. Lee throws a strike but Gaspare rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gaspare controls the pace. Lee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Gaspare advances position into side control! Lee trying to remain calm as Gaspare controls from the top position. Gaspare tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Lee is looking for a sweep. Gaspare controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gaspare wants to stand but Lee is controlling his arm. Lee is looking to reverse the position. Gaspare controlling the position from side mount.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lee looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Gaspare scores with a nice strike. Gaspare takes the fight into the clinch. Lee prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gaspare drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lee gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Lee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Lee being controlled against the cage. Gaspare manages to pull guard.
Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gaspare has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position. Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Gaspare is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raneiro Gaspare dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lee gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gaspare. Gaspare has taken the fight to the clinch.

Gaspare throws a combination that misses and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Gaspare scores with a sloppy right hand. Lee should have avoided that one. Lee takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lee is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gaspare closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Lee! Gaspare dives in looking to finish! Lee is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raneiro Gaspare!
