Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suchart Cobb (ranked 2914 p4p, 373 weight class) and Steven Fromm (ranked 4252 p4p, 509 weight class). Fromm has chosen The Village People-YMCA as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Suchart Cobb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Fromm!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb tries to close the distance and clinch but Fromm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fromm tries a head kick but it misses.
Fromm misses with a series of wild punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Cobb misses the target.
Fromm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Fromm, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fromm tries to keep at a distance but Cobb has taken the fight into the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Fromm throws an elbow but misses.
Cobb has Fromm pressed against the cage, preventing Fromm from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Cobb lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Fromm backwards.
Cobb lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Fromm is trying to break the clinch but Cobb has him pressed against the cage.
Fromm tries to score a body lock takedown but Cobb shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Fromm's coach down at Heavy Hitters and BJJ Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fromm's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cobb is pressed up against the cage. Fromm has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cobb down to the mat. Cobb avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Fromm. Those never looked like landing.
Fromm throws a series of punches but Cobb moves out of range.
Cobb swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Fromm gets tackled into the cage by Cobb. Cobb maintains the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cobb keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fromm's efforts to push away.
Cobb lands with a short shot to the head.
A head punch on the inside from Cobb fails to land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fromm is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Suchart Cobb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Fromm.
Cobb has a couple of punches blocked by Fromm.
Cobb lands a hook that snaps the head of Fromm backwards.
Fromm tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fromm tries to pull guard but Cobb forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Cobb lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Still in the clinch, Cobb scores with a nice short uppercut.

Fromm jumps guard but Cobb turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Fromm tries to pull guard but Cobb holds him up against the cage and eventually Fromm drops back down to his feet.
Cobb lands an uppercut.
Fromm tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cobb just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fromm tries to pull guard but Cobb won't allow it.

Fromm is rocked!
Fromm looks winded!
Cobb lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fromm is still on wobbly legs! Can Cobb finish him?
Fromm can't break the clinch.
Cobb creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Fromm with a big uppercut! Fromm tries to clinch up but Cobb pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Fromm to the mat! Fromm covers up and Cobb unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Suchart Cobb!

Steven Fromm was interviewed post fight and said 'I got have naked and wrestled another man, that's still a win in my book...'.
