Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaik Ailo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Reynolds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaik Ailo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds shoots in but Ailo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Reynolds fails to land the takedown.
Reynolds bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ailo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ailo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Reynolds's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Reynolds's back!
Ailo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Reynolds has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Ailo is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Reynolds is defending well though. Ailo let's go of the attempt for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ailo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Reynolds can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Reynolds tries to land knees in the clinch but Ailo avoids the damage to the body.
Ailo has clasped his hands together around Reynolds's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Ailo drops Reynolds with a right and a left! Ailo comes rushing in but Reynolds regains his composure and manages to keep Ailo in guard.
It looks like Steve Reynolds has been cut.
Ailo slips nicely into half guard.
Ailo uses his free foot to push down on Reynolds's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Reynolds.

Ailo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ailo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jaik Ailo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well Ailo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
