Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pierre St. Georges (ranked 198 p4p, 23 weight class) and Nova Zigaman (ranked 219 p4p, 25 weight class). St. Georges comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu. Zigaman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cameo - Word Up! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pierre St. Georges has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from St. Georges as Zigaman shoots in.
St. Georges looks to land a right hand but Zigaman moved out of range.
Zigaman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Zigaman defending well as St. Georges loads up on a big left hand.
Zigaman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
It looked like St. Georges wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Zigaman moves into range and clinches up with St. Georges.
Zigaman is trying to pull guard but St. Georges has him pressed against the cage.
Pierre St. Georges has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nova Zigaman.

St. Georges is looking to stand up but Zigaman won't let him.

St. Georges doesn't manage to clinch there - Zigaman circles away.

Zigaman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but St. Georges defends well and Zigaman ends up having to push St. Georges into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Zigaman throws a body shot but no joy.

Oooooh!!! St. Georges has knocked Zigaman down with a huge combo! St. Georges steps away and waves a wobbly Zigaman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Nova Zigaman has been cut.
Zigaman closes the distance and clinches up with St. Georges, looking for a takedown. Zigaman pushes St. Georges against the cage but St. Georges circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zigaman looks to throw the jab but St. Georges is out of range.
Zigaman avoids the body shot from St. Georges.
We've been told by St. Georges's head coaches at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pierre St. Georges is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
St. Georges cracks Zigaman with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Zigaman looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can St. Georges finish him?
Zigaman is rocked!
St. Georges misses with a wild body shot.
Zigaman is still on wobbly legs! Can St. Georges finish him?
Zigaman shoots in but no luck this time.
Zigaman seems to have recovered his senses.
St. Georges misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
St. Georges closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Zigaman! St. Georges dives in looking to finish! Zigaman is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pierre St. Georges!
In defeat, Nova Zigaman stepped up to the mic, saying 'You may have won the battle tonight but you haven't won the war. Tonight you were lucky... it will never happen again. The referee was all over you tonight... what did you do? Get on your hands and knees before the fight? 9/10 I will destroy you.'.
