The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejien takes a swing at Oxadus's ribcage but misses.
Oxadus darts in looking for a takedown but Trejien gets double underhooks and turns Oxadus into the cage.

Oxadus pushes Trejien up against the cage in a clinch.

Trejien's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chu Chu Trejien seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oxadus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Trejien on his heels. He'll look to pass Trejien's guard now, I'm sure.
Oxadus is looking to work some ground and pound but Trejien has wrist control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oxadus throws a strike but Trejien rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Oxadus tries to roll over but Trejien keeps him under control.
Oxadus wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Oxadus takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Oxadus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Trejien defends well and Oxadus ends up having to push Trejien into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Trejien scores with a jab. Oxadus acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Matteus Oxadus has been cut.
Oxadus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Trejien.
Oxadus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Chu Chu Trejien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matteus Oxadus.
Trejien bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Oxadus goes for a double leg but Trejien avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Trejien continues to drive forward.
Chu Chu Trejien is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oxadus is rocked!
Oxadus is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Trejien doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Oxadus crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Oxadus's bad books for that mishap!
