Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Anderson (ranked 2155 p4p, 288 weight class) and Herb Krison (ranked 2779 p4p, 356 weight class). Krison has chosen Rebelution as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krison pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Krison. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Anderson throws a sloppy head kick and Krison moves out of range easily.
Anderson misses with a series of wild punches.
Krison tries a low kick but Anderson avoids it.

Anderson has Krison up against the cage in a clinch.
Anderson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Krison fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krison sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Anderson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Krison's half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Krison is not content to let Anderson control the position.

Krison wants to control but Anderson is keeping busy.
Krison is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Krison swats away the attempt to clinch by Anderson.
Anderson thumps Krison with a low kick.

and Krison counters with a straight right hand.

and Krison counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Krison! But no joy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Brownie Anderson will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

No joy there for Anderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
