Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olen Sargent (ranked 24473 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Mind (ranked 5883 p4p, 583 weight class). Marty Mind will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Olen Sargent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marty Mind!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mind throws a sloppy head kick
and Sargent counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sargent.
Sargent can't find room to land a body shot as Mind controls the action.
Mind turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mind manages to end up in side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mind misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Sargent is trying to improve his position.
Mind trying to control the action but Sargent is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
I wouldn't like to be where Sargent is right now.

Mind wants to control for a moment but Sargent uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mind throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mind is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Mind prevents Sargent from improving his position.
Mind trying to control from Sargent's half guard. Sargent has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Mind postures up in Sargent's guard and throws a big left but Sargent blocks it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mind wants to control from the top but Sargent keeps moving.
Mind looking to pass the guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sargent keeping moving, preventing Mind from controlling successfully.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Mind darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mind missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Mind throws a strike but Sargent avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Mind stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sargent swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sargent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sargent seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Mind tries to free his leg and advance position but Sargent is retaining full guard.
Sargent pulls Mind in to control the position.
Mind trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sargent pulls Mind in close to his closed guard and prevents Mind from doing any damage or advancing position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mind trying to control but Sargent is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mind drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sargent throws Mind to one side and escapes!
Mind wants to clinch
and Sargent counters with a three punch combo that has Mind backing up. Mind nods at Sargent to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mind looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Olen Sargent dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sargent with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mind to score with a decent uppercut.
Sargent closes the distance and clinches.
Mind wants to get back to striking at distance but Sargent won't allow it.
Mind tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sargent changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mind fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Sargent counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mind shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sargent is trying to defend but Mind finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mind is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sargent doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mind.

Sargent gets full guard.
Mind has gone for a leg lock! Sargent slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mind's guard.
Mind looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mind really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sargent. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mind trying to keep a closed guard but Sargent is proving a slippery customer.
Sargent working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Mind is looking for a triangle but Sargent pushes his legs off easily.
Olen Sargent overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mind working a defensive guard but Sargent manages to pass into side control anyway.
Mind tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Sargent easily slips into full mount!
Mind reaches up to try and control the position but Sargent seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Mind rolls and tries to escape and now Sargent has his back!

Mind tries to break free.
Mind tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Sargent has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Mind is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
