PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Klay Dee (ranked 2119 p4p, 229 weight class) and Benz Bulver (ranked 760 p4p, 86 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tyler, The Creator - Who Dat Boy. Bulver is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Little Eagle Soars. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Klay Dee!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Benz Bulver!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulver misses with a wild body shot.
Bulver scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dee throws a hook but Bulver avoids it easily.
Bulver throws out a counter right but Dee avoids it with no problem.
Dee throws a looping overhand right but Bulver ducks down to avoid it.
Good shot there by Dee.
Dee throws a combination that misses
and Bulver cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dee throws an off balance right hand
and Dee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bulver tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bulver throws a sloppy head kick
and Dee counters with a stiff right hand.
Dee scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bulver in his tracks.
Bulver avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bulver cracks Dee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bulver tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dee defends well and Bulver ends up having to push Dee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bulver takes one to the side of the head.
Bulver has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A punch combination from Dee misses.

Dee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dee misses with a wild combination.
Bulver lands a head shot.
Dee misses with a left hand
and Bulver connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bulver displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dee throws out the jab.
Bulver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dee as he avoids it easily.
Nice straight punches there by Bulver. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bulver.
Klay Dee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bulver misses with a body shot.
Dee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bulver.
Dee misses the shot to the body.
A swing and a miss from Dee.
Bulver avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bulver lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Dee tries to move into range but Bulver moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Dee is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bulver scores with a counter punch that sends Dee to the canvas! Bulver smells blood - he's punishing Dee with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dee has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benz Bulver! Benz Bulver retains his lightweight title!
