Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Minoshi Kawajari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Remington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Remington's choice of entrance music: Kymani Marley - Warriors. The key to victory for Minoshi Kawajari has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Remington!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kawajari.

Kawajari shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Kawajari goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Remington is on top in guard.

Remington is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kawajari had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Remington is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kawajari Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Remington's back instead.

Kawajari looking to break Remington's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Remington remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kawajari will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Mike Remington showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kawajari drops back, looking for a kneebar! Remington looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Remington looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Remington!

Kawajari feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kawajari stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Remington swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kawajari throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kawajari bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Remington's head.
Kawajari shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Remington but Remington pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Remington tries to land a front kick but Kawajari steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kawajari shoots for a takedown but Remington saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Remington throws a head kick but Kawajari moves out of range.
Kawajari looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Remington is fending him off so far but Kawajari persists. Nope, Remington circles away and we're back to standing.
Kawajari shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Remington pinned against the cage. Remington gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mike Remington comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Remington has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
