Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Feltre (ranked 206 p4p, 11 weight class) and Johnny Pearson (ranked 1009 p4p, 54 weight class). Feltre kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Someday Never Comes. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Feltre is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pearson defends well.

and Feltre counters with a right hand to the body.
Pearson tries to score with a low kick but Feltre moves his leg out of the way.
Pearson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Feltres jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Feltre lands a nice looking body kick.
Feltre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pearson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Feltre takes a knee to the side of the body.
Feltre fails to pull the fight into his guard.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pearson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Pearson.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Feltre jumps guard but Pearson stands there with Feltre around his waist. Feltre gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Feltre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pearson smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felipe Feltre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pearson cracks Feltre with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A lazy left from Pearson finds it's target.

Pearson has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
