Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between ARMY STRONG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asterix Njord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Njord has chosen Nicole - Solang mein Herz noch schlägt as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
STRONG shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Njord but Njord pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A punch combination from Njord misses.
STRONG throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
STRONG blocks a jab.
STRONG tries to close the distance and clinch up but Njord swats him away and circles back towards the center.
STRONG looks for a takedown but Njord sprawls well.
Njord lands a body shot.
STRONG is breathing heavily.
Njord lands a straight punch to the body, keeping STRONG at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Njord shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in STRONG's guard.
Njord tries to free his leg and advance position but STRONG is retaining full guard.

STRONG can't keep his opponent in guard - Njord advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Njord avoids the attempt from STRONG to control.
STRONG is looking to improve his position but Njord isn't that keen on the idea.
STRONG tries to hold on but Njord pushes him away.

Njord tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
STRONG stops Njord from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Njord is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. STRONG is in real trouble.

Njord has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, STRONG has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
STRONG is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Njord.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
STRONG turns into Njord and is now in his guard.
Njord bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in STRONG's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asterix Njord dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
STRONG tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Njord paws at him with a jab and circles away.
STRONG throws a sloppy head kick and Njord moves out of range easily.
STRONG wants to clinch up but Njord keeps it at a distance.
STRONG with a lazy takedown attempt
and Njord counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Njord cracks STRONG on the jaw with a powerful right hand and STRONG falls backwards against the cage. Njord follows up with more strikes that drop STRONG to his knees. Njord keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save STRONG! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Asterix Njord!
