Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Neil Nucombe (ranked 626 p4p, 80 weight class) and Carlton Lassiter (ranked 1132 p4p, 143 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lassiter uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nucombe has time to react.
Nucombe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lassiter moves away.

Horrible takedown attempt by Lassiter or perhaps it was just good defense by Nucombe, which made it look bad.

Nucombe tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lassiter cranks the arm and Nucombe screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Nucombe, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
