Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Orston (ranked 9510 p4p, 786 weight class) and Evan Glascoe (ranked 5595 p4p, 609 weight class). Evan Glascoe told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Orston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Glascoe! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orston throws a hook but Glascoe avoids it easily. Orston misses with a low kick.
And Glascoe tries to counter it with a takedown but Orston pushes his down on his head and steps out. Glascoe clinches with his opponent.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Orston is trying to break the clinch but Glascoe is controlling him. Orston scores with an uppercut up the middle. Orston lands with a left to the head. Glascoe tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Orston avoids it. Glascoe fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Glascoe swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Orston throws a punch but it's blocked by Glascoe. Orston working aggressively here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orston tries to break free but Glascoe pushes him back against the cage. Orston really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Orston on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Glascoe throws a head punch that misses. Orston misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Glascoe tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Orston just stands there and leans against the cage. Orston tries to work over Glascoe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Glascoe working aggressively here.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Glascoe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glascoe's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
It looks like Evan Glascoe has been cut. Orston lands with a short head shot on the inside. Glascoe taking a breather. Glascoe stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Glascoe drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Orston gets the underhooks and prevents it.
David Orston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Glascoe. Glascoe tries to throw a body punch but Orston avoids it by throwing Glascoe back against the cage. Glascoe is trying to maintain a safe position but Orston gets an underhook and turns Glascoe into the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Glascoe.
Orston misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Glascoe lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Orston tries to work over Glascoe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Orston is defending well against a takedown attempt. A short right from Orston. Orston digs a right hand underneath Glascoe's ribcage. Glascoe let out a lung full of air as it connected. Orston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Orston circles away from the clinch attempt.
Orston tries to work over Glascoe's front leg with a kick but Glascoe checks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glascoe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Orston napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Orston looks to move to half guard but instead Glascoe has passed into mount! Damn! Orston is looking to improve his position but Glascoe isn't that keen on the idea. Glascoe manages to capitalize on a mistake by Orston to take his back! You can see the frustration on Orston's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Glascoe controlling the positon. Orston is trying to get back to his feet but Glascoe has full control of the position and if anything, Orston has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glascoe keeps control of the position as Orston tries to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orston covering up well under a barage of strikes. Glascoe has managed to slip his arm under Orston's chin. This could be all over... yep, Orston is tapping out! Submission win for Glascoe.
