Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Kir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiger Woodz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Kir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiger Woodz! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Woodz or perhaps it was just good defense by Kir which made him look bad. Kir takes the fight into the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kir takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Woodz is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kir is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Woodz to the mat. Woodz regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Woodz is looking to stand up but Kir isn't so interested in that idea. Kir wants to control from the top but Woodz keeps moving. Kir wants to stand and escape but instead Woodz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Kir is looking to sweep but instead, Woodz has passed into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Woodz thows a huge punch but Kir dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kir is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Woodz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Woodz's back! Kir is trying to stick to Woodz's back but Woodz is turning into Kir. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kir's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Woodz. Woodz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Woodz won't allow Kir to sweep him here. Kir isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Woodz stacks Kir on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Woodz! Kir is trying to improve his position. Woodz working the ground and pound but Kir is defending the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Woodz misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kir is trying to work for a sweep but Woodz has mounted him! Woodz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Woodz looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kir tries to get back to half guard but can't. Woodz working the ground and pound effectively.
Woodz looking to control but Kir is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kir tries to lock up and control but Woodz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodz working Kir over with strikes here. Woodz throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Woodz looking to control but Kir is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kir on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kir tries to get out of the position. Woodz prevents Kir from getting the reversal. Kir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Woodz on the ground. Kir has given up his back here.
Will Woodz go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Woodz looking to break Kir's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kir remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Woodz will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Woodz tries to keep control of the position but Kir is staying busy. I really don't envy Kir right now.
Kir is trying to get back to his feet but Woodz has full control of the position and if anything, Kir has just worked his way into a worse spot. Kir is breathing heavily. Woodz is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Kir is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tiger Woodz!
