The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson catches Khalidov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Khalidov lands with an overhand left.
Tyson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Tyson just misses with a punch to the body.
Khalidov is looking to counter punch.
Tyson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tyson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Khalidov is out of range and Tyson settles back down.
Khalidov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tyson.
Tyson slips a straight right by Khalidov.
A jab from Khalidov misses.
Tyson lands a nice looking body shot.
Khalidov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tyson swats away the attempt to clinch by Khalidov.
Tyson dips to his left and cracks Khalidov with an uppercut!
It looks like Mamed Khalidov has been cut.
A jab from Tyson misses.
Khalidov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tyson lands a big right hand that sends Khalidov crashing to the mat! Tyson stays standing though and waves Khalidov back to his feet!
Khalidov is rocked!
Khalidov walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Khalidov limp body while Tyson jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rocky Tyson!
An out of breath Rocky Tyson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
