Alger comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Metallica - Creeping Death kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alger forces Carr back against the cage and clinches.

It looks like Floyd Carr has been cut.

It looked like Carr was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Alger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alger throws a leg kick which misses Carr's front leg but catches the back leg as Carr tries to avoid it.
Carr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Alger moves into the clinch successfully.

Carr jumps guard but Alger turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Alger ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Alger no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Well Alger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
