Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lee Wells!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ailean Ceallach!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wells is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ceallach's half guard.

Wells is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ceallach has managed to free his arm - good work.

Wells stands up from half guard.

Wells drives through with a takedown into Ceallach's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Ceallach is working an open guard so Wells takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ceallach slaps away a takedown attempt from Wells, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wells.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wells shoots in looking for a takedown but Ceallach manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wells's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Wells. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ceallach tries to clinch up.
Ceallach tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ceallach tries to clinch up but Wells circles away and keeps his distance.

Ceallach gets caught flat footed, as Wells shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ceallach has his foot on Wells's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wells works his way back into a safe position though.

Wells stands up and waves to Ceallach to follow him.
Wells tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ceallach sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wells somewhat.
Wells really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wells closes the distance and clinches up with Ceallach, looking for a takedown. Wells pushes Ceallach against the cage but Ceallach circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wells looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ceallach is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Wells stands and steps away. Ceallach gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ceallach moves in looking to clinch but Wells pushes him off.
Wells swats away the attempt to clinch by Ceallach.
Ceallach is looking to clinch but Wells is avoiding it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ceallach forces Wells back against the cage and clinches.

Ceallach manages to break the clinch.

Ceallach gets tackled into the cage by Wells. Wells maintains the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ceallach.
Ceallach lands with a left to the head.

Ceallach escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ceallach tries to clinch up but Wells circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck for Wells with that takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wells shoots in looking for a takedown but Ceallach manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wells's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Wells sets himself, and Ceallach steps forward looking for the clinch! Wells avoids it this time.
Wells swats away the attempt to clinch by Ceallach.
Wells tries to counter by clinching up but Ceallach breaks away and moves out of range.
Wells takes one on the button.
Ceallach connects with a looping right hand.

Wells closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ceallach makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.


Wells is rocked!
A shot in the inside from Ceallach.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ailean Ceallach will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Ceallach closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Wells is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ceallach creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Wells's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Wells drops to his knees and Ceallach pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ailean Ceallach!
