Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cornelius Carr (ranked 311 p4p, 43 weight class) and Constantine Kermit (ranked 393 p4p, 62 weight class). Carr comes to the cage accompanied by Bang Bang. Constantine Kermit is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cornelius Carr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Constantine Kermit! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from Kermit. Carr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kermit. Nice shot by Kermit. Kermit fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carr looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kermit takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kermit walks into a straight right hand from Carr. Kermit on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kermit throws a looping overhand right but Carr ducks down to avoid it. A slow jab from Carr misses its intended target. A slapping body kick lands there for Kermit. Carr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've been informed that Kermit has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carr throws a head kick that misses and Kermit counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Cornelius Carr has been cut. Carr throws a leg kick and Kermit cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kermit misses with a head kick.
As Kermit tries to get set, Carr tries to push him back and clinch up but Kermit manages to avoid the attempt. Kermit takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. The crowd cheers as Carr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kermit doesn't seem phased though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kermit stuns Carr with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kermit blocks a jab. Carr moves away from the strike by Kermit. Carr scores with a jab. Kermit acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kermit misses with a body punch
and Carr counters with a straight right hand. Nice defenses there by Carr. Kermit connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Carr's hands. Carr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kermit was well out of range. Poor timing from Carr. Kermit thinks about the counter body kick. Kermit has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kermit scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carr doesn't seem bothered though. Carr throws an off balance right hand
and Kermit counters with a nice uppercut. Carr throws an off balance right hand
and Kermit counters with a nice right hand that sends Carr toppling to the canvas! Carr scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kermit finish him?!
Carr is rocked! Kermit is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Carr had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. This has been an exciting period of action! Kermit takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh Carr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A shot to the body from Carr misses and Kermit rattles Carr with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Carr tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kermit dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Carr stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Constantine Kermit! An out of breath Constantine Kermit thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
