Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Glass Joe (ranked 6418 p4p, 268 weight class) and Naruto Uzumaki (ranked 3630 p4p, 175 weight class). Joe comes into the arena with La Marseillaise blaring out of the sound system. Glass Joe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Glass Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naruto Uzumaki! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe scores with a shot to the body.
Uzumaki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Uzumaki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joe's waist but Joe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Uzumaki off to one side. Uzumaki tries for a takedown but Joe circles away easily and Joe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Glass Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Naruto Uzumaki. Uzumaki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Uzumaki shoots in looking for a takedown but Joe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Uzumaki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Uzumaki darts in looking for a takedown but Joe gets double underhooks and turns Uzumaki into the cage. Uzumaki tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Joe defends well and Uzumaki ends up having to push Joe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. It looked like Joe was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Joe stuffs the takedown. Uzumaki looks winded! Uzumaki is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Joe's half guard. Joe is controlling Uzumaki's position as best he can from this difficult position. Joe wants to improve his position but Uzumaki is controlling well.
Joe is holding on to half guard well. Joe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uzumaki on the ground.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Joe defends it well. Joe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Uzumaki is working for a kimura but Joe is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Joe tries to get to full guard but Uzumaki has control of the leg. Uzumaki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Joe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Uzumaki. Joe is trying to stand up here but Uzumaki is controlling him well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Uzumaki wants to pass to mount but Joe is defending the position. Joe keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Glass Joe will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Uzumaki tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Joe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Joe connects with a looping right hand.
Glass Joe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Uzumaki dives in and grabs Joe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joe pushes down on Uzumaki's head and hops out. Uzumaki has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Uzumaki tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Joe defends well and Uzumaki ends up having to push Joe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Uzumaki shoots in but no luck this time. Glass Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Naruto Uzumaki. Uzumaki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Joe avoids it really well and circles away. Joe is looking for a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uzumaki has his takedown stuffed and Joe counters with a right hand to the body. Uzumaki takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Joe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uzumaki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Joe counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Joe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Uzumaki can do to turn this around? Joe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Uzumaki is breathing heavily. Joe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Naruto Uzumaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Joe lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Uzumaki scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Uzumaki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Joe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Uzumaki. Uzumaki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Joe is just riding it out for now. Uzumaki eventually gives up the hold. Joe wants to get back to his feet.

Joe keeping hold of Uzumaki's head, controlling as best he can. Uzumaki is pressing down on Joe's thigh, looking to free his foot. Joe is holding on for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Uzumaki is working for a submission of some sort.

Uzumaki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Joe is looking to stand up but Uzumaki isn't so interested in that idea. Joe pulls Uzumaki in close to prevent any damage. Uzumaki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Uzumaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Joe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe being controlled here, momentarily. Uzumaki gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Joe scores with a hook. Joe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Uzumaki. Joe lands a nice looking body shot.
Uzumaki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Joe sprawls well. Joe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Uzumaki gets slowly back to his feet. Uzumaki fails with the takedown and Joe counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Uzumaki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Uzumaki. Glass Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Naruto Uzumaki. Joe dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Joe looks to land a combination. Uzumaki sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Uzumaki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Joe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Uzumaki somewhat. Joe connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Joe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Uzumaki avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe throws a right hand that Uzumaki ducks under and follows up with a left that Uzumaki also avoids with ease. Uzumaki looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Uzumaki misses with a takedown attempt and Uzumaki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Uzumaki misses with a takedown attempt enabling Joe to counter with a crisp jab.
Uzumaki is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Joe engages and cracks Uzumaki with a massive lead left hook - Uzumaki tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Joe is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Glass Joe! Glass Joe seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
