Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Hughes (ranked 2230 p4p, 39 weight class) and Randall Couture (ranked 2389 p4p, 41 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricky Hughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randall Couture!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture closes the distance and clinches.
Hughes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hughes working hard to break the clinch.
Hughes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Couture tests Hughes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Couture throws a hook to the side of Hughes's head but Hughes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Couture swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Couture misses the jab.
A left lands for Couture.
It looks like Ricky Hughes has been cut.

A decent looking cross lands there for Couture.
Hughes lands a jab to Couture's midsection.
Couture has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Hughes misses with a hook. Couture ducked under it nicely.
Couture feints the counter takedown.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Couture pushes Hughes up against the cage in a clinch.
Couture lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Hughes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hughes tries to break free but Couture pushes him back against the cage.

Hughes tries a body shot but Couture blocks it.
Hughes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Couture counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Ricky Hughes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
