Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rubin French (ranked 5921 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Zagor (ranked 5924 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rubin French! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Zagor! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from French enables Zagor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. French manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. French trying to control the position.
French will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zagor tries to free his leg and advance position but French is retaining full guard. Zagor drops back, looking for a kneebar! French looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. French looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from French!
French tries for a kimura but Zagor is defending well. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Zagor has eaten all the pies! Zagor tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but French wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. French tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Zagor manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Zagor looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zagor is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but French pulls his head out easily. Zagor wants to get back to full guard. French really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Zagor actively working from the bottom here. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. French wants to stand but Zagor has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. French is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Zagor tries to roll over but French keeps him under control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Zagor actively working from the bottom here. French wants to stand up but Zagor is controlling the position.
Zagor looking for submissions off his back. French is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. French throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Zagor's head. French closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zagor to the mat! Zagor manages to get full guard. French controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Zagor looking for submissions from the bottom but instead French passes into side control.
French stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zagor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. French shoots in but Zagor avoids the takedown attempt easily. French looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Zagor! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zagor is looking for a sweep. French decides to stand back up. French steps back and let's Zagor get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rubin French dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
French lands a high kick!
French shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zagor as he jumps to the side. Zagor scores with a takedown into French's guard. Zagor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. French swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zagor has gone for a leg lock! French slips out almost immediately though and dives into Zagor's guard.
French stands up from guard. Let's bang! Zagor is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from French is defended easily by Zagor. French closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zagor circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rubin French. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zagor shoots in and bounces French off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Zagor postures up.
Zagor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! French is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zagor, into his guard.
French has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zagor to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! French is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zagor pulls down on the head and he's put French to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Roman Zagor!
