The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Übensplikt's waist but Übensplikt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Griffin off to one side.
Übensplikt keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Übensplikt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Griffin throws out the jab.
Griffin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Übensplikt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Griffin's guard.
Griffin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Griffin looking for a triangle here. Übensplikt is fighting it but it looks tight! Griffin pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Übensplikt is tapping out - this one is all over!
