The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee X I I I lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fortune circles away quickly and effectively.
Fortune swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fortune swings widly with a right hand
and Lee X I I I counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fortune throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee X I I I appears to be looking for a big counter.
Lee X I I I throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fortune rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lee X I I I connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lee X I I I pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fortune let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Lee X I I I misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fortune.
Fortune loads up on a big right hand but Lee X I I I slips the punch.
Lee X I I I throws a nice looking combination but Fortune bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fortune works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Fortune throws a shot from downtown. Lee X I I I moves away and avoids it.
Fortune slips under a jab.
Lee X I I I looks to land a left hand but Fortune moved out of range nicely.
Lee X I I I really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fortune changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fortune throws an off balance right hand
and Lee X I I I counters with a stiff right hand.

and Fortune counters with a nice body shot.
Lee X I I I misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fortune throws a jab when Lee X I I I was well out of range.
Lee X I I I moves out of range as Fortune strikes.
It looked like Lee X I I I was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fortune.
Fortune takes a swing at Lee X I I I's ribcage but misses.
Fortune is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Lee X I I I takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A swing and a miss from Fortune.
Lee X I I I tries to bum rush Fortune with a series of wild strikes but Fortune uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fortune looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lee X I I I throws a jab when Fortune was well out of range.
Lee X I I I fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fortune manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lee X I I I lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
We've been told by Lee X I I I's head coaches at Dungeon Brawler Gym ($800/week) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lee X I I I lands a nice looking body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fortune swings for the body but Lee X I I I moves out of range.
Lee X I I I throws an overhand right that lands on Fortune's shoulder, as Fortune tries to avoid the shot.
Fortune fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fortune misses with a wild body shot.
Oooooh!!! Lee X I I I has knocked Fortune down with a huge combo! Lee X I I I steps away and waves a wobbly Fortune back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fortune is rocked!
Lee X I I I looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fortune is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee X I I I finish him?
Lee X I I I connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Fortune covering up! Lee X I I I comes in with a big uppercut and Fortune goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jackie Lee X I I I!
In his post fight interview, Jackie Lee X I I I started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
