PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damien Dawson (ranked 8717 p4p, 673 weight class) and TJ Barakus (ranked 5266 p4p, 536 weight class). TJ Barakus told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson scores with a leg kick.

Barakus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nice straight punches there by Dawson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dawson.
Barakus tries to clinch up but Dawson circles away and keeps his distance.
Dawson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Barakus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dawson moves away.

Barakus clinches up against the cage.

Dawson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dawson sends Barakus crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dawson is motioning to the referee to let Barakus up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Dawson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
