Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris White (ranked 3107 p4p, 157 weight class) and Pablo Pablos (ranked 5666 p4p, 255 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris White !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 37 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pablo Pablos!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White shoots in looking for a takedown but Pablos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing White 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
White with a poor takedown
and Pablos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
White misses with an uppercut
and Pablos counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pablos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
White has his feet on Pablos's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Pablos avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pablos tries to counter by closing the distance.
Pablos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
White is looking to regain half guard here but Pablos keeps moving and retains side control.
Pablos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pablos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
White tries to buck Pablos off but Pablos is having none of it.

Pablos stands up and beckons White to his feet.
Pablos manages to get an easy takedown there - catching White on his heels. He'll look to pass White 's guard now, I'm sure.
Pablos slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Pablos gets to his feet - White follows without any prompting.
White throws a sloppy body shot
and Pablos counters with a stiff right hand.
White looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pablos kicks White off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Pablos counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pablos.

White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pablos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pablos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. White gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

White thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

White wants to control from the top but Pablos keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as White accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pablos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
White looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Pablos is figuring out what he wants to do next.
White is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Double XX, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Pablos seems to be working for a kimura but White defends the submission attempt.
White is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pablos pulls his head out easily.

White misses with a hook
and Pablos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

White has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Pablos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. White is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pablos.
Pablos is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

White goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pablos has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for White but great work by Pablos.

White gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pablos to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Pablos is pushing down on White 's leg trying to pass to half guard. White is fighting to maintain full guard but Pablos has managed to sneak the leg through.

White is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
