Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Finch (ranked 25098 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Jones (ranked 5090 p4p, 0 weight class). Pete Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lawrence Finch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pete Jones! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones moves into range and clinches up with Finch. Finch works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Jones working a defensive guard here.
Jones has control of Finch's left arm, preventing Finch from doing any damage. Finch looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Finch controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. Finch avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Finch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jones chips away with some ground and pound. Jones content to stall in guard here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Finch wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Finch keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones stays in close to Finch's body and controls the position. Jones prevents Finch from getting back to his feet. Jones wants to control from the top but Finch keeps moving. Jones landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jones trying to control but Finch is working from the bottom. Finch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones stays in close to Finch's body and controls the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones rushes Finch and presses him up against the cage. Finch ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Finch no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Finch wants to sweep but no luck. Finch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones. Jones looking to pass the guard. Jones controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Finch is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Finch is looking to stand back up but Jones counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Finch. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
It looks like Jones might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Finch avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones.

Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jones trying to mount his opponent but Finch defends it. Finch scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jones manages to mount him!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones with good strikes from the mount here! Jones tries to control but Finch wriggling away. Finch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pete Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Finch to the ground. Jones is now in Finch's guard. Finch wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jones is working Finch over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Finch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Finch controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to control from the top but Finch keeps moving. Jones throws a big elbow that misses. Finch being controlled here, momentarily. Finch controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Finch is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back! Jones prevents Finch from getting a body triangle. Pete Jones has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Finch doesn't have the hooks in and Jones manages to turn into his guard.
Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Finch is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it. Finch is trying to get back to his feet. Finch being controlled for a moment. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Finch! Finch tries to buck Jones off so he can stand up but Jones has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Finch falls backwards, slamming Jones to the mat but Jones holds on tight! Finch is forced to tap and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Pete Jones!
