Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toki Wartooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wartooth comes to the cage accompanied by Murmaider. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage shoots in for a takedown but Wartooth shows good takedown defense.
Rage has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Wartooth.
Rage looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No joy there for Wartooth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wartooth rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rage moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wartooth misses with a few strikes there.
Oooh a lovely combination from Wartooth sends Rage down but not out. Wartooth dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like BJ Rage has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wartooth moves into full mount!
Wartooth throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Wartooth is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rage can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Horrible takedown by Rage or perhaps it was just good defense by Wartooth which made him look bad.
Toki Wartooth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wartooth swats away the attempt to clinch by Rage.
Good leg kick by Wartooth there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wartooth with a poor takedown
and Rage counters with a shoot takedown. Wartooth fights it but they end up in guard.
Wartooth is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Wartooth pushes Rage off and gets back to his feet.
Wartooth lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rage circles away quickly and effectively.
Rage shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wartooth connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Toki Wartooth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Rage.
Wartooth lands a jab to the nose.
Wartooth throws a series of punches but Rage moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wartooth misses with the combination.
Rage fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on BJ Rage's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wartooth lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wartooth tries to bum rush Rage with a series of wild strikes but Rage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wartooth's guard.

Wartooth trying to keep a closed guard but Rage is proving a slippery customer.
Wartooth is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rage throws a strike but Wartooth rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rage has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wartooth doesn't defend quickly enough and Rage has managed to lock this one up! Can Wartooth escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rage on a fantastic submission victory.
