Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Geraldo Reid (ranked 7744 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bol Strike (ranked 5823 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Geraldo Reid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bol Strike! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reid dives in for a single leg takedown but Strike sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Reid takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Reid on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Strike scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Reid doesn't seem bothered though. Strike scores with a nice strike. Strike pushes Reid up against the cage in a clinch. Reid manages to break the clinch.
Reid could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Strike lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Strike fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Reid looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Strike has managed to clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Strike's face as he tries to break the clinch. Strike wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Strike working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Strike is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geraldo Reid. That's two minutes gone in the round. Strike getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Bol Strike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strike works the jab nicely. Reid decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Reid sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Strike defending well though. Reid is working for a kimura but Strike is defending it quite comfortably.
Reid is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Strike doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reid. Strike tries to roll over but Reid keeps him under control. Reid is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strike has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reid is working away from the top position though. Strike keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Reid has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ground and pound from Reid. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Strike can do anything to dispel that myth. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Reid connects with a nice short shot to Strike's temple. Reid seems to be looking for submissions.

Reid working over Strike with some ground and pound. Strike looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Strike taking some punishment here, with Reid in his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reid gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Reid takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Strike lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reid at a distance.

Strike misses with a hook from the clinch. Strike lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Reid stalls. Reid has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Strike after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geraldo Reid. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strike lands a nice uppercut. Reid takes a shot to the head. Strike tries to throw a body punch but Reid avoids it by throwing Strike back against the cage. Reid works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Reid might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Strike is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Reid is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Strike has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Reid gets to his feet - Strike follows without any prompting. Reid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Strike tries to avoid it but Reid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Strike to the ground. Strike escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Strike ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Reid has a takedown stuffed. Strike has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Strike lands a jab to Reid's midsection. Nice shot lands for Strike.

Strike doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Strike manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Strike creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Reid wants to break the clinch but can't.
Reid is looking to take this one to the mat. Reid blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Strike gets through Reid's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Strike misses with some punches.

Bol Strike showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Strike works over Reid's head and body with a nice combination. Geraldo Reid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An inside leg kick from Reid misses. Strike drives through and clinches with Reid against the cage.
Strike lands a right hand. Reid gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Strike wants to stand up but Reid is controlling him.
