Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Monroe (ranked 5009 p4p, 547 weight class) and Jean Cristopher La Vellei (ranked 8707 p4p, 733 weight class). The key to victory for Dan Monroe has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe moves to clinch but La Vellei breaks away
and La Vellei connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

La Vellei shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Monroe's guard.
Monroe pushes La Vellei off and scrambles back to his feet.
La Vellei has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Well La Vellei has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
