Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xota Opened (ranked 9084 p4p, 749 weight class) and David Monroe (ranked 6292 p4p, 654 weight class). David Monroe will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opened shoots in for a takedown but Monroe shows good takedown defense.
Monroe misses with a body shot.
Monroe misses with an uppercut.

Monroe drops Opened with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Opened looks back up at him and smiles so Monroe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Xota Opened has been cut.
Monroe throws an overhand right that lands on Opened's shoulder, as Opened tries to avoid the shot.
Monroe throws a hook but Opened blocks it.
A counter left hand to the body from Opened misses its target.
Opened goes for a double leg but Monroe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Monroe continues to drive forward.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Monroe lands a big right hand that sends Opened crashing to the mat! Monroe stays standing though and waves Opened back to his feet!

Opened is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Monroe ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Opened clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
