Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pavel Rosicky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chosu Viv!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosicky with a poor takedown
and Viv counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Viv shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rosicky but Rosicky pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Viv misses with a takedown attempt - Rosicky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've been hearing reports that Rosicky has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Viv fails with the takedown.
Pavel Rosicky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chosu Viv.
Viv shoots in for a takedown but Rosicky shows good takedown defense.

Viv shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rosicky napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Rosicky explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rosicky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Viv looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rosicky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rosicky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rosicky working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Rosicky thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Viv throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Viv stops Rosicky from passing to mount.
Viv is looking for a sweep.

Rosicky is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Viv is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Viv is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rosicky has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Rosicky is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Viv knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Rosicky is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Viv looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rosicky gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Viv is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rosicky lets go of the hold and Viv can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Pavel Rosicky!
